A music store owned and run by the QSync Ethical Music Foundation, a non-profit.
The Store will sell music, media and content by download and as a physical product. The price and the sales model - streaming, short-term rental, perpetual sale, or any combination - are set by the rights holder, not by us. We collect what a listener pays and pass it on, less card payment fees and about one percent towards what it costs to run the Store. That one percent is cost recovery, not profit - the Foundation takes no margin.
Those are not intentions. They are article 1 of the Foundation's charter, and the charter is published: qemf.org.
